1. Who we are
GeFei Digital LLC, a limited liability company organised in the State of Wyoming, United States (“GeFei Digital”, “we”, “us”), operates the website gefei.net and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at qiayue@gmail.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers gefei.net only — the corporate website of GeFei Digital LLC. The products and services we operate each run on their own domain and have their own privacy policy, which governs your use of that product: bestlinks.ai, new.web.cafe, seo.web.cafe, seo.box, pvuv.ai and gefei.ai.
3. What we collect
gefei.net is a static informational website. It has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no comment system and no payment flow. The only data involved is:
- Server and security logs. Our hosting and CDN provider, Cloudflare, processes the IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp of each request in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- Language preference. When you switch between English and Chinese, the choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. This value never leaves your browser and is not sent to us.
- Correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message.
4. What we do not do
- We do not set cookies on gefei.net.
- We do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts on gefei.net.
- We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell personal data.
5. Why we use it and legal bases
We use the data above to serve and secure the website, to answer your enquiries and to negotiate and deliver services you ask about, and to keep the records that tax, accounting and other laws require. Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests (operating and securing the site, responding to enquiries), the performance of or steps prior to a contract (when you ask about our services), and legal obligation (record keeping).
6. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary, and only with: Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site; our email provider, which stores correspondence; and public authorities where the law requires it. We do not share personal data with anyone else.
7. International transfers
GeFei Digital LLC is a United States company with a team in Shenzhen, China. Data may therefore be processed in the United States, in China and in the locations where Cloudflare operates its network. Where a transfer out of the UK or EEA takes place, we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses offered by our providers.
8. How long we keep it
Server logs are retained by Cloudflare according to its own retention periods and are not separately stored by us. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, where it relates to a service engagement, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email qiayue@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
gefei.net is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be announced on this page.
